Longevity Centre

What does longevity mean to you?

Longevity – it sounds modern, scientific, almost technical. What it means is not simply growing old, but living as healthy and active a life as possible into old age. People used to talk about anti-ageing. Today, it is no longer about smoothing wrinkles or replacing hormones, but about understanding the biological processes of ageing and influencing them in a targeted way.

Longevity today

Epigenetics, cell metabolism, immune function, hormone regulation and microbiome research are meant to work together towards a longer "healthspan" – more healthy years of life, not just a longer life. Figures such as David Sinclair, Bryan Johnson or Aubrey de Grey shape the scene with big promises, sometimes radical programmes and a strong media presence. Longevity thus becomes a lifestyle of self-tracking, biohacking and a touch of digital immortality.

But behind all the glamour lies a simple question: what use is optimisation if the foundations are not right?

Our answer: cause-oriented medicine

We do not believe in shortcuts – nor that longevity comes out of a cold chamber or an infrared cabin. Longevity does not begin with vitamin infusions, a fascination with technology and glossy promises, but with cause-oriented medicine.

Our holistic approach

We do not see longevity as a showcase of self-optimisation, but as consistent work on the foundations of health. Ageing does not simply happen with the years – it is accelerated by unrecognised stress factors, nutrient deficiencies and chronic regulatory disorders.

Most longevity centres start at the top of the pyramid – with bio hacks (such as astragalus, rapamycin, metformin, methylene blue, genetic engineering, red light, cold chambers or HBOT), stem cells, supplements or apheresis – and work their way down, if at all.

At Seegarten Klinik we go the opposite way: from the bottom up. We begin by addressing the causes. On this we build the fundamentals – sleep, food, exercise, sunlight and fresh air, stress control and social contacts. Only on this foundation do the measures further up make sense. This approach is also more cost-effective than the reverse: the most effective fundamentals are the least expensive in the long run, but sometimes difficult to put into practice – they demand more of you than being treated passively at the top of the pyramid.

Precision diagnostics

Many longevity programmes start with a ready-made package of tests and therapies. We start with a systematic analysis of causes: we want to understand which stress factors or deficiencies stand in the way of healthy regulation. To do this, we rely on modern laboratory diagnostics, functional tests and detailed consultations – so as not only to record symptoms, but to make the processes behind them visible.

Longevity Check-ups

The systematic analysis of possible disruptive factors:

Longevity Check-ups
Longevity Check-ups
  • Lifestyle: unhealthy habits (e.g. nicotine, alcohol, distress, lack of sleep)
  • Food intolerances and sensitisations
  • Exposure to heavy metals and environmental toxins
  • Psychological trauma and long-term stress
  • Vaccine-associated complications / spike-induced processes
  • Latent or manifest iron deficiency
  • Gut function disorders such as "leaky gut"
  • Polypharmacy and side effects of medication
  • Interference fields from scars
  • Dental stress factors, e.g. from root-dead teeth

These factors are not side issues – they are often the main reasons why people age prematurely, feel exhausted or become chronically ill. Our check-ups make these hidden stress factors visible, as a basis for individual measures.

Personalised interventions & treatments

A long, healthy life is no accident, but the result of wise decisions. At the Longevity Centre Zurich, your individual needs are at the centre.

Only once the biggest disruptive factors have been identified and reduced can regenerative therapies unfold their full potential – for example micronutrients, hormone modulation, infusion therapies or mitochondrial medicine. Starting these therapies without knowing the disruptive factors means starting at the top of the pyramid – and giving away part of their effect.

We support you step by step – with scientifically sound methods, an interdisciplinary team and a great deal of experience in recognising what is hidden.

Who is our longevity approach suitable for?

Our understanding of longevity is not aimed at people looking for quick effects or fashionable treatments, but at those who are ready to engage with their health in depth – in order to benefit for the long term.

Who is our longevity approach for?
Who is our longevity approach for?

Our approach is particularly suitable for:

  • People with chronic complaints who have not yet received satisfactory answers – whether exhaustion, sleep disorders, diffuse pain or unexplained symptoms.
  • People over 40 who do not want to wait for the first breakdown, but want to understand early on what is accelerating their ageing – so as to counteract it while this is still effective.
  • People under heavy strain, at work or emotionally, who sense that their body is reaching its limits – and who want to know how to stay fit and productive in the long term.
  • People who want to stay biologically younger without masking risks or untreated weak points.
  • People who take responsibility for themselves, are open to sound diagnostics and are ready to work actively for their health.

We do not work with "longevity kits" or standard plans, as are offered in many places today. Every person brings their own story – and deserves an individual, expert and in-depth analysis.

Lifestyle is Medicine

Health is the result of countless small decisions, day after day. What you eat, how you sleep, how you deal with stress and whether you exercise: all of this has a stronger effect than many medicines. Numerous studies show that our daily habits influence ageing, performance and the risk of disease more strongly than many genetic factors.

While many providers rely on the next therapy, for us the rule is: longevity begins in everyday life – not in therapy. We help you to recognise the decisive levers and to adjust them.

Shaping health in everyday life

Diet influences inflammation, metabolism, hormonal balance and even the microbiome. We help you to identify foods that suit you – rather than burden you.

Exercise promotes circulation, cell regeneration, mental clarity and muscle metabolism. Even small, regular impulses can have a positive effect on biological ageing processes.

Sleep is not a luxury but a prerequisite for hormonal balance, memory formation and cellular repair. We analyse the causes of disturbed sleep – from stress hormones to the sleeping environment.

Mental health, daily routine, media consumption and social relationships also act like daily medicines – either healing or harmful.

We support you in putting it into practice

What sounds like a truism is often hard to put into practice in everyday life. Between work, commitments and old habits, there is little room for new routines – even when you know what would do you good. We support you in integrating the decisive lifestyle factors into your everyday life for the long term:

  • A healthy diet suited to your type
  • Regular exercise, adapted to your constitution, your goals and your current capacity
  • Good sleep
  • A healthy way of dealing with stress
  • Strengthening self-efficacy, so that you can actively shape your health – rather than just react

Our team supports you individually, close to everyday life and with many years of experience in functional and integrative medicine – step by step, adapted to your life. Because longevity is not a fashion, but an attitude.
