It was genuinely the first doctor's appointment in my entire life at which I felt that someone really wanted to help us. After many years full of disappointments, misdiagnoses and the feeling of being left alone with the illness, you gave us hope.
Throughout the whole conversation I felt taken seriously, understood and extremely well informed. When I left your practice, I felt for the first time in a long while that the people working there know exactly what they are doing, have a structured plan and sincerely aim to help my wife as well as they possibly can.

The entire team of doctors is exceptionally competent, warm and committed. You feel taken seriously, because everyone takes a lot of time, listens attentively and responds to your concerns individually. I was particularly impressed by the holistic approach, in which causes are carefully analysed rather than just treating symptoms. A big thank you to Dr. and Mrs Meyer and the whole team! Our children received a comprehensive analysis that identified vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Based on this, an individually tailored treatment was recommended – which gives us a very good feeling. Appointments are given quickly, reminders are sent reliably and laboratory results arrive promptly. The atmosphere in the clinic is also very pleasant. We feel very well looked after in every respect and recommend this clinic wholeheartedly.

Various chronic complaints
I'm just taking a moment here to let you know that brain fog, word-finding difficulties (mostly), sticky eyes in the morning and a crusty nose have been a thing of the past since the dental operation. I would never have connected these phenomena with those foci of bacteria in the mouth! My bladder has calmed down too.

Thank you very much for your treatment.
Last night I was finally able to sleep for 7 hours without a break (from 22:00 to 5:00)! I can't remember whether I have ever slept that many hours in one go in the last 28 months. Last night I took magnesium for the second time. I keep having to reduce the dose of my pain medication because I'm feeling better. I will show you my updated pain diary on Wednesday.

High blood pressure
Dear Dr van Limburg Stirum, since I have been under your care I feel like I'm 20 again!! Compared with before, the medicines you have prescribed are better, easier to tolerate and ABOVE ALL free of side effects. The treatment feels like it did when I was young, when the family doctor analysed the cause first instead of – as today – simply prescribing a few pills or putting the patient "under the knife"! Miracle infusions
Dear Dr van Limburg Stirum,
I have now had the 2nd infusion – I feel much better, i.e. the morning struggle for energy has almost gone and I have fewer slumps of tiredness during the day as well.

I have been living with my various "complaints" for 20 years, and all the visits to doctors over the years never really did me any good. I didn't even learn anything from them. Mostly I heard the same thing: that I was simply out of shape and should do some sport. I always believed the doctors and tried and tried, and it just got worse. After all these years (more or less out of necessity, because my condition kept getting worse) I tackled the whole thing once more. Because I had once heard here about a doctor who was supposed to know about ME/CFS, I asked my GP whether he could refer me to him. My GP had actually suggested of his own accord that he refer me somewhere, because he himself didn't know much about chronic conditions like this.
So I suggested Dr van Limburg Stirum from Seegarten Klinik in Kilchberg, and my GP took a quick look and said he would do it, it looked good.
Lots of blood tests were done and, let's say, nothing reeaally serious was found – except that my mitochondria in the blood didn't look too great and that I don't tolerate certain foods. But I have always felt that they really took me seriously there and kept trying to find the cause. Although Dr van Limburg Stirum considered ME/CFS, and MCS would fit too, he didn't just say "well, that's how it is".
In the meantime I have also got to know "our" Dr Protazy Rejmer. The two doctors work together very well. It is obvious that their patients' well-being is close to their hearts! It feels so good to be taken seriously! A huge thank you from me here!
For everyone who doesn't yet have a doctor who takes them seriously and can help them, I can highly recommend the two doctors, Dr van Limburg Stirum and Dr Protazy Rejmer.
I am so glad that I have finally found the right doctors!
I wish all of you that there is a solution for each of you that makes you feel better again, or even completely well.

Nutritional advice and pain

Heart condition
Thank you for the interesting thoughts in your Christmas 2020 newsletter and for your good wishes!
I think there is a deeper reason for this pandemic. And something has to change.. you can already see in nature that it is doing it good!
Of course I knew that I hadn't been doing my body any favours for years.. but all I got from my GP was bags full of medication. Then I had a procedure in cardiology at the University Hospital Zurich where not everything went well ..(a stent – several, in fact, because of poor vessels) and unfortunately no discharge talk with a doctor either.
At home I had bad nights; my trust in doctors was gone.
After 4 weeks I was so desperate that I made an appointment at Seegarten Klinik with Dr Gabriela Matthieu. Through her manner, understanding and thoroughness, I regained trust and the will to live.

Some brief feedback from me once again. The attached photo probably says more than a thousand words! :-)
You will already have heard from Dr M about the striking improvement in my laboratory values.
Well, for me in any case, what I am now experiencing with the therapy is the greatest thing. I can train my muscles without paying for small exertions with weeks, even months, of weakness and pain. I regularly go on long mountain hikes, and with the altitude gain I regularly push myself beyond anything I have managed so far. Currently (last Monday) I am at 1,200 metres! That was very much at the limit, but I was still able to get up the next morning without any problem.

Poisoning with the MRI contrast agent gadolinium
Since the detoxification I really am much better; the depression that used to come on suddenly and regularly has gone. It had left me lying motionless on the bed for hours. So the treatment was very effective.

Headaches

Chronic autoimmune disease
Back from the university hospital with a chronic diagnosis and lifelong cortisone. After treatment at SGK, the symptoms have practically disappeared and the patient is able to work again – without cortisone and without medication: "You have given me a new life"!

Rheumatism
I went to university hospitals with my stiff, painful hands. After all the tests, all I got was painkillers. And now, since my treatment at Seegarten Klinik, I am pain-free without medication and can move my hands again without any problem.
Chronic exhaustion
I always used to be exhausted after half an hour of aerobics. With the supplements I was given, I can now train for the whole hour without any problem and still feel fit.
Attention
None of the many other doctors paid such attention to how things are connected, or explained it.
Quality of life
At Seegarten Klinik I was treated holistically as a patient. With my chronic illness I had already been to many other doctors and medical institutions, unfortunately without any success. Every improvement counts for me, so my heartfelt thanks go to Dr van Limburg Stirum for his active listening and the wonderful treatments that gave me a better quality of life for the first time.
Excess weight
I have the impression that the therapy really is working. After all, I lost 2 kg over Christmas (!) – normally I gain at least that much at this time of year.
Learning at school
I can pay attention much better at school now. My marks have gone up by half a grade to a whole grade! Without having to try very hard!
Cravings
In the evenings I always had cravings and had to devour a bar of chocolate. That addiction is... simply gone!
Osteoporosis
My bone density has improved by 5–10 per cent in recent years with Seegarten Klinik's natural products! Without chemicals!
Energy
Since I have been having iron infusions, I know again what it means to have energy!
Performance
Thank you so much for your treatment, which got me back to my old top form in no time. I feel very good again and can perform at a high level. It came just in time, because I was really very exhausted and had a great deal to get done. I am extremely glad, because my quality of life is incomparably better.
Side effects
From you I am hearing for the first time about the side effects of modern stomach protectors. No doctor has ever explained that to me.
